Sunspots (26/8-karma) look like dark spots on the Sun yet they shine brighter than the moon. They produce intense magnetic activity and powerful solar flares that disturb the earth’s atmosphere, causing havoc with electrical devices and also with humans who are finely wired.

We can attribute world events to Sunspot activity. For example, glacial melting generally occurs during a ‘Solar Maximum’ (there are other factors). Or during the height of the ‘Solar Minimum’ in December 2008 the world entered financial recession en masse. 2008 = 28/10/1; courage, breakthrough, balance spiritual/material, purpose, new direction. 28 (year) +12 (month December) = 40/4; the rebuilding of a new structure for the future.

• Sunspots appear in 11-Year Cycles (11-service, love, aspiration).

• Chinese Astrologer Gan De (22/4-master builder) first observed Sunspots in 364 BC (13/4- rebirth, radical change).

• The most intense Solar Flare was recorded on 4.11.2003 (20/2- birth, love, protection) when satellite instruments were saturated for 11 minutes.

• Sunspot activity can be unpredictable. Some eminent scientists believe sunspot activity can experience Double Peaks over a 10-13 year Cycle.

• 2009 (29/11/2-rise in consciousness, purification) was the last ‘Solar Minimum’ – when the sun was Spot-less for 71% of the year (71/8- readjustment, manifestation, spiritual will).

NASA predicted that May 2013 would be the exact point of the ‘Solar Maximum’, or the Peak of current Cycle 24 (24/6-alchemy, choice, change). In fact May has already produced more X-Flares (the most powerful and extreme) than during the whole of 2013.

• 2013 (20+1+3)= 24/6 (compassion, service, group responsibility, justice, balance and harmony). May month=5 (clarity of mind, cleansing of old misunderstandings, sudden change or movement). May 5 + 24 (year) = 29/11/2 (intense purification, spiritual alignment).

So what now? Current Sunspot Cycle 24 in 2013 (also 24/6) is reminding us that the earth is part of a much larger solar system; we are not alone. We may function as individuals but together we form the soul of humanity. 24/6 is teaching us to harmonise by viewing the bigger picture. Now, during this tipping point or Peak we are resting in the heart, and are being supported by Ray 2 of love and wisdom to make good choices and find the way home.

She was like Marmite and attracted great extremes of emotions – but it was impossible to ignore her. Margaret Thatcher was a formidable mover and shaker, who through hard times made her mark on the political landscape both in the UK and abroad. Those in the public eye represent some aspect of the energy of their time and the 1980’s were tough – so here was a tough leader. The 80s was a time of power, materialism, ambition, and there was a great hunger for success driven on by competition. However, the great divide between rich and poor (nations) became more evident, but the 80s or 8 enabled us to tap into the inner strength of spirit to navigate the waters and help us pull through.

Names are so important – name vibrations influence our whole life. Names contain strengths, challenges, gifts, vocational qualities, spiritual lessons, wisdom from the past, and they altogether add a touch of familiarity. So how did this Lady’s names help her to fulfil her political destiny?

Can a species as tiny as the humble Bee help humanity to grow up, wake up to its responsibilities, and help to preserve life on earth? Yes it can! Bees pollinate gardens and crops, and provide a vital and essential link to our food chain. Bees are amazing net-workers that make the world go around.

However, the bee population has been declining in droves for years. Some argue their decline is due to pesticides, the interference of satellites and magnetic fields, viruses, or unpredictable weather patterns. In truth it may be the result of a combination of these factors effecting stock worldwide.

Last week (Week 15/6; Choice and Change, in 2013 or Year2+0+1+3 = 6 Wisdom, Protection, Service) a group of MPs calling themselves ‘The Environmental Audit Committee’ gathered together to petition the UK Government to ban pesticides which they believe are harming, if not killing off bees. (Many garden suppliers like much of Europe have already banished the sale of certain pesticides). But are bees doing humanity a favour? If pesticides are killing off bees what are they doing to other creatures and to humans?

Life evolves in cycles and the bee population does – like every aspect of life – experience it’s own natural highs and lows. Nature mirrors our inner journey… the light shines bright (high energy) then we experience the ‘dark night of the soul (quiet energy)’; from the cocoon the light re-emerges for our soul to rise again (integration). Numerologists highlight the importance of recognizing these cycles in order to enhance life, harness creative potential, and essentially to uplift the world.

Numerology – Year 2013 can be seen as a 20 + 13, or 20/2 + 13/4. Bees (2+5+5+1 = 13/4). These vibrations highlight: birth, rebirth, responsibility, opportunities for spiritual growth, major transformation, co-operation and collaboration. 20+13 = 33 =

Each country and person has something unique to offer and the world is one incredible melting pot.

Last week Bhutan (21/3; balance, creativity, spiritual upliftment, wisdom) – that magical kingdom high up in the mountains of the Himalayas – announced they are now actively working towards becoming the first totally organic country in the world. Quite an ambition, but look at what they have already achieved… They have a small but highly educated citizenship. Smoking and plastic bags are completely banned, and their government bases its structure on ‘Gross National Happiness’ rather than materialism. Tourism is limited annually to 500k to preserve life at all levels. Indeed, Bhutan only flicked on television in 1999 (28/10/1 – courage, pioneering, vitality).

So is Bhutan trying to turn the clocks back pre-Industrial Revolution or are they a real shining light offering us a glimpse of our future? Whatever, they are setting a powerful blueprint, and we can learn from everyone.

Numbers In The News (35). True Ownership

Last week China clamped down on restrictions regarding web usage and their ‘Great Fire Wall’ was once again re-enforced to stop sensitive information being leaked out of the country. However, China also embarked upon a master stroke of genius by legally requiring users to register on the internet using only their own names. This appears to be an incredibly constructive common sense approach to regulating the internet that can contribute to making it, ‘safer and orderly,’ as they say.

In a strange way China is handing individuals back their power. It also empowers people to take responsibility. Indeed it requires courage to be ourselves and we are all learning to own our words, actions and experience. Perhaps this unique precedent of Real Identity Registration can be rolled out on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

So let’s take a look at the numbers…

2012 ( 2+0+1+2 = 5) – a 5 Year of communication – brought up intense issues like media regulation, and on Twitter users found themselves in deep water for loose talk. But Freedom of Speech is our Right. Year 5 also highlighted information and technology, knowledge, and sudden change. December was the 12th Month + 5 Year = 17/8. The Collective Month Number 17/8 highlights transparency, truth, honesty, integrity, personal responsibility. So China created the ‘name change’ at the very tail end of a 5 Year to help to push through changes. China itself adds up to a 26 or 8, which is an auspicious number in the East. 8 highlights: success, organisation, power, influence, personal responsibility, and revaluation. So the timing was aligned to the purpose.

This Year 2013 (2+0+1+3=6) is a 6 Year. It’s about alchemy and transformation, and about looking at life from the opposite point of view so that we can see whole picture. It’s also about using our innate inner wisdom.

NUMBERS IN THE NEWS (34). 21:12:2012 = A New Dawn For Humanity

Today the earth will be in alignment with the sun, exactly at the centre of The Milky Way Galaxy. Since millennia, all cultures have predicted this particular moment in time. That is, the ending of one era (a 26,000 year cycle highlighting collective karma, compassion and service) and the beginning of The Age of Aquarius. At a deeper level, this transition has been taking place gradually over hundreds, even thousands of years.

Life feels different these days – we may sense something has changed but we may not be able to pin point exactly what or why. These shifts in consciousness or vibration have been occurring beneath the surface yet they affect all areas of life in a very fundamental way. Changes emerge from within and we are all connected.

So what new potential does 21.12.2012 hold special for us today?

21st (Day Number 21/3). This is an uplifting and creative energy. It highlights love, wisdom, Divine Will, creative expression, prosperity, fertility of ideas, and spiritual protection. It also provides a point for reflection and focus so that we utilize our potential in a productive way.

12th (December is 12th month. 12/3). Once the seeds of creation have been planted and anchored firmly in the earth, then the first stage of the plan is complete. It may take focus to finish what we start, we may easily get distracted, scatter our energies, but we keep on. Humanity is one family and we can recognize this important message (in the 12 days of Christmas). Being reflective helps us to consciously formulate a new blueprint for the future. Expansion comes from letting go, then we move on naturally.

2012 (2+0+1+2 = 5). 5 Cycle. Through the highs and the lows we learn to make sense of life through applying mind. Commitment and communication may take place between soul and personality. By facing facts all becomes clear; we experience movement, change, and a deeper connection to our soul, people and to life.

21.12.2012 = 38/11/2. Humanity has choice but collaboration, love, co-operation is the only way forwards. Number 11 highlights spiritual alignment, purification, and soul aspiration. 38 is encouraging us to be revaluate, be assertive, stand up, wake up spiritually, and get active in building the plan. Overall this is a breakthrough date that’s asking us to channel our gifts to uplift others. To reach out and help others in our own particular way, and to join together.

What’s truly inspiring is that all around the world ‘special’ dates like today are making people stop, look and listen – to themselves – and to what’s being reflected in the numerology of the date. All life is cycles – in reality there is no beginning or end for all is One.

Numbers In The News (33). ‘At The 11th Hour’

There’s that saying, ‘At The 11th Hour.’ November is the 11th month of the year. ‘Armistice Day’ falls on the 11th Day of the 11th Month at 11.11am. In Numerology Number 11 is referred to as a Master or Mirror Number. Mirror Numbers (11, 22, 33, etc.) are single numbers doubled together, that provide us with opportunities to step aside of our daily preoccupations to serve the greater good. They indicate there’s a bigger process at work and we’re all on board.

When added the 11 becomes a 2, which highlights decision-making, negotiation, cooperation, peace, love and wisdom. The 2 qualities of kindness and consideration remind us to become more sensitive to others needs and situations in life.

So what is ‘The 11th Hour?’ It’s that time of reckoning when the pressure’s on, and although we may be uncertain of the outcome we’re doing all we can to achieve a certain end. Some people find it easier to make decisions at ‘The 11th Hour.’ Perhaps because the light of clarity and truth is so brightly illuminated in the 11 (God, The Divine King, The Teacher, Spirit), so the ‘right’ decisions become obvious. Other people fear ‘The 11th Hour’ looming; the clock is ticking, emotions are running high, there’s nowhere to run and seemingly no solution in sight. Sometimes ‘The 11th Hour’ provides a wake up call to reality or situations simply fall into place in a spectacular and uplifting way.

In the bible it says that those who arrived at work ‘At The 11th Hour’ still got paid a full day’s fees. The symbolic message revealing that those who are willing to do ‘the work’ have access to the gateway of heaven (spiritual transformation).

Number 11 heralds in a paradigm of inspired creativity and spiritual alignment. As we become clearer channels for the light and enhance the rise in consciousness, we create a stronger Brotherhood of Man.

Numbers In The News (32). Media Ethics Is Of Public Interest.

2012 = 2+0+1+3 = 5. Year 5: freedom of speech, communication, change, learning to be mindful. What is it about 2012 that has made everyone so vocal? The Year Number says it all.

For many years the UK trade union body NUJ (National Union of Journalists) has been campaigning for a ‘Conscience Code’ to be written into journalists’ employment contracts. This states, ‘…A journalist has the right to refuse assignments or be identified as the creator of editorial which would break the letter or the spirit of the Code….’ Spirit represents truth. When our conscience is clear, all is well. So how does conscience sit with some media proprietors who claim the right to distort text and images?

The House of Commons Select Committee into Privacy and Media Intrusion recommended that the ‘Conscience Clause’ be implemented back in 2003 (2+0+0+3 = 5. A Year 5 again! History repeating itself so we look at an issue fully and move forwards). But this Clause has been met with a great deal of opposition. Why? Is this a case of profit before ethics?

Journalists represent the voice of each nation, and most want to make a genuine contribution. But with power comes huge responsibility. Words are energies that create collective potent thought forms, which can literally brainwash society. Media barons are being forced to recognize the right use of power. The media also respond to demand and we are all responsible for buying or reading publications that feed into the system.

Self-Regulation has been recently tested out in the Media. But it’s produced luke-warm results because media organizations are still, to a great extent, setting their own standards instead of bonding together for the collective good. But it’s transition time, and it takes courage to look in the mirror and recognize time to set a new blueprint.

The NUJ Code of Conduct writes about Public Accountability. It commits journalists to correct inaccuracies, to obtain material by honest means, and to act in public interest. More factual reporting will happen as society sees through glamour and starts to recognize the value of truth, respect and service to the community. Indeed, ethics isn’t reserved for the media – it’s important for us all.

Numbers In The News (31). U-Turns On Life

We’ve all changed our minds about a situation and gone from one extreme to the other, but it’s all a part of life. So why do we fuss when friends, family or governments do ‘U-Turns?’

Firstly, U-Turns can upset the apple cart because they demand us to make (sometimes) instant adjustments and face new situations or a dawning reality.

Secondly, doing a U-Turn may require us to ‘eat humble pie’ and say, ‘Sorry, I made a mistake but now I’ve changed.’ This calls for humility.

Finally, a U Turn may be made to suit self or for others. It may also be that we’ve gone as far as we can in seeing a situation from a purely personal point of view and then suddenly, we get it into perspective (bigger picture, soul).

So what about the Numerology?

U (3) – TURN (19/10/1); 3 + 19 = 22/4.

Number 3 requires us to recognize and implement the plan through constructive action. It urges us to finish what we start, to live with joy, love and generosity of heart.

Number 19/10/1 aligns us to soul potential and provides us with a sense of purpose. When we serve the light decisions can be made with clarity and ease. There is a sense of knowing what to do and a mission to act in a wise and selfless way.

22/4 – The Melting Pot; ‘which way am I going, what am I doing?’ Soul wisdom and intuition help us to make decisions that are best for the group. Then with other co-workers we manifest the Plan (22 is a Master Number).

Overall a U-Turns provide us with fresh creative ideas, help us to recognize a plan of action, and then encourage us to build a better world for all.

U-Turns may be painful, or bring relief, or simply provide us with a fast track route out of a tricky situation, but they do teach us to be adaptable to life. Ultimately You-Turns encourage us to serve the greater collective good – and that creates win-win situations all around.

Numbers In The News. (30) Every One’s A Winner. 30th Olympiad. ‘London 2012’.

How wonderful to witness country flags proudly blowing together at smart Olympic venues around the UK. The Olympics is indeed inspiring the next generation. Everyone wants to win, but let’s explore what this really means Numerologically.

The word ‘win’ = 19/10/1. The energy of Sirius, pure brilliant sun light that guides us forwards. Vital, energetic, focussed, it enhances mental determination, and offers us the strategic agility to overcome obstacles. It encourages us to be ourselves, to be courageous and to aspire to reach our creative potential. It also highlights the need for humility.

‘Winner’ = 38/11/2. The winner experiences a spiritual initiation process, a wake up call. They express passion, and then with love and wisdom they inspire others to join in the game. There is recognition of gifts along with challenges (to be worked on) and a striving to succeed. Success brings fame, but the greatest reward is being lucky enough to channel their creativity and live up to their spiritual potential.

The winner receives a shiny ‘Medal’ = 17/8. Is the Holy Grail the Medal or the long arduous years of hard work that paved the way to success? The light of truth is seen, along with spiritual revelations. Status, magnetism, and power…they reach the top only to climb down and revaluate. More to do.

So why do we wear Medals around the neck? The neck and shoulders carry responsibilities. In an Olympic Games the pressure of carrying the responsibility of each nation is enormous. It’s a reminder that the person is in service to the group (to soul, their team, the country they represent, and to the sport).

And what do the Medals indicate? Different levels of awareness…

‘Gold’ = 20/2. The greatest achievement is to activate our soul potential, the blossoming of the soul, shining forth from within, by bringing creative potential out into the light of day. Gold like The Olympic Flame and Cauldron. There is a strong element of wanting to get the Gold, to get what I want. But Soul and Personality create the bond that sparks the flame. Teams bond together as one. This is the birth of wisdom.

‘Silver’ = 31/4. There’s a desire to change the world and make a difference. A relentless striving to achieve results. Spiritual Will drives us to work hard to enhance our performance. Keep expressing self and creativity. As a Flag bearer, there’s a need to remember why we’re so driven. Conflicts need addressing. Physical and mental endurance keep us on track to win the Gold of Soul.

‘Bronze’ = 35/8. Give up the fight for Gold. Gold is within everyone already. Relax, have fun, reflect and revaluate. Reach for the stars, but let go of heavy attachment to physical achievement. It’s time to empower those around us; we grow strong through soulful communication. Reality sobers us up fast. Success is taking responsibility.

Truth is we’re all winners when we’re utilizing our creative spiritual potential and being our authentic selves. The soul light is bright – we all can shine. After we’ve given everything we possibly can, at the end of the day, when we know we’ve done our very best, we know that we really are winners. Bronze, Silver, Gold, it’s all one.
